Been here multiple times and just about every time we hit Jtown. Food is good, the katsu is always fresh, well cooked and tender. It's never too busy inside and just big enough where it's not crazy loud. The inside is nice, clean, and the service is good and attentive. This is one of the last good restaurants in Jtown now since everything else is gone and replaced with what they like to call sushi and I guess Asian food but most places are not Japanese food quality. Make this place a go to.

I've come here a few times whenever I feel like having a bento. Chicken katsu is my favorite food and this place always gets it right. It's not too breaded or oily. It has a delectable flakiness that I feel like is hard to achieve. The bento box portions are always large and I usually end up having to take some home. Service is pretty attentive as they came by to refill our waters pretty often. It's never too busy in here either, unlike some other restaurants in the area, so if you are looking for something quick then this could be a good option.

The service was as good as I remember. I haven't been here since pre-COVID. Same great food. The Bento boxes never let me down. It's Little Tokyo . Fringe "Arts district " It's one of the "Japangeles" fill. The term is considered a compliment. Quaint and clean.

I visited this place for lunch on a weekday, not very crowded but busy seemingly due to the many take-out orders. The restaurant in Little Tokyo is a small but roomy as the seating is spread out pretty well. The restroom is also small but clean! The service was great, the servers were very attentive and give great suggestions. I went to visit on a recommendation of a friend and quickly found out why this was so highly spoken of. Although many of the reviews spoke of the noodles being delicious, I also noticed many like the pork cutlets. I ordered the Loin Cutlet as it was the favorite of m server and it did not disappoint. It was tasty and moist, and full of flavor. The coating was crunchy and not oily which is my main complaint of many places. If you order a bento, they offer a way to add noodles to your order so if you want to try other things and also try the noodles, it is available. This is one of the many gems of Little Tokyo, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this a try, you won't be disappointed!

Upon arriving, we were greeted and the staff directed us yo our table. We can during dinner services around 7pm. Luckily it wasn't as busy and without a long wait. The service was great! Friendly staffs. The food was well cooked and crunchy. Would definitely come back to try the rest of the other dishes they have. I hot the combi and it was well put together and it was simple yet delicious. The ambiance was simple and clean. Nothing special.

I came here for lunch on a Thursday and it was relatively empty. The server was attentive and came by our table quickly to grab drink orders. I ordered the pork cutlet curry and it comes in a rather deep bowl and also comes with a side salad and miso soup. It comes with a lot of curry. I really enjoyed the pork cutlet because it was juicy and the breading was really flakey. It had a really nice satisfying crunch when biting into it. The curry itself was nicely flavored but it did get rather salty after a while. I did not like the deep bowl since it made it hard to choose how much curry per rice bite. A plate would've been easier to maneuver. I would come back again to try the bento boxes !

I have visited this restaurant in Little Tokyo a couple times now and am now finally leaving my review. One good thing is this restaurant will validate your parking if you park in the structure connected to the main plaza! They have a good amount of tables inside that are best for parties of 4 of smaller. This most recent time I visited I got the tenzaru soba but other times I got the tonkatsu (pork loin katsu). I would definitely recommend getting their tonkatsu instead of the other dishes like their bentos. The bentos were all mediocre from what my friends said. The soba I got was good but the tempura was below average for me, it was pretty soggy and had no crunch. The batter was also really thick so I wasn't the biggest fan. Their tonkatsu is really good though so that's why I am giving it 4 stars. Overall I would come here again but just get the tonkatsu. It's nice this restaurant isn't too crazy because its on the street side and not in the heart of the plaza.

This restaurant is well lighted, no loud noise, cozy and relaxed place to eat. There are plenty of Japanese wall decor displays on wall. We came here on a Monday evening, plenty of booth style table. Waitress is friendly and order came quick. The ramen and teriyaki is on the salty side. Bento is best to order it comes with vegetable tempura, spring roll, seaweed salad. Donburi salmon is a little dry but contains generous amount of rice. Takoyaki octopus filling is a bit tough. Pricing is a bit high too.
